A vet is a must as a partner for canine health. Get a consult. As regards what you can do, consider this. You can change the dog's diet to a simple one and see if that helps. There are a number of resources online to assist you. You may want to consider "cooking" for your dog and making stuff for a while. This can be expensive as well as time consuming, but if something like, say, a rice and hamburger diet is substituted for dog food for a week or so, it might lead to a permanent and doable fix for the situation. As you are currently in an information gathering phase, start gathering in earnest. Talk to any "dog types" you know and ask for input. Any breeders (if you have a specific breed) may be able to help. And recall the suggestion about the vet. He's a pro. If you live near a vet school, you may find they offer clinics for really cheap. Good luck.
Dogs throw up by eating grass. Everyone knows that!!!
Take him to a veterinarian immediately
If you throw up often, the acid from your stomach can cause your esophagus to bleed. This is common with people who are bulimic. You can also have an ulcer or blood blisters which bursts. That is usually alcoholics who gets it.
You will probably not throw up if your stomach is empty. Sometimes when you have the flu, you can vomit up stomach acids just because you're ill, but if you are otherwise healthy and don't have any flu symptoms, you will not throw up with an empty stomach.
Usually it is only what is in the stomach (food, liquid, gastric juice / stomach acid, ect.). If there is enough force - and this is VERY dangerous - sometimes a person might throw up blood.
Yes, you have stomach acid in your stomach. When you throw up and your stomach is empty, then you throw up this bad-tasting yellow liquid : that is stomach acid. There are also amino acids in your enzymes located in the cell. (: Hope this helped !

No... the morphine is absorbed into the bloodstream - not passed into the digestive tract. However, morphine given through IV can still make some people sick to their stomach. It can cause vomiting in those that are sensitive to it, but they would only be throwing up their stomach contents, not the actual morphine.
You can hurt your throat and teeth
