If you think she's actually going to contact your wife, you need to come clean fast. The truth's going to come out anyway, so you need to get your side of the story out first. That also allows you to cleanly break off all communication with the ex-mistress once and for all. But if she's just trying to plant suspicion in your wife's head -- by having suspicious things sent to your house in your name, for example, like expensive jewelry catalogs, or sending your wife anonymous e-mail about "what to do if your husband cheats" -- then you can just pull her aside and tell her gently that you know what she's doing but you've recommitted yourself to your marriage, and you want her to walk away happy for you. This type of person sounds more like a stalker than mistress material, and certainly no one you'd consider leaving your wife for.
