I am not sure of your age but starting around the age of 13, 14, or 15 you should take a shower every day. This makes sure your body is clean and dirt doesn't build up. Also, your hair will be healthy if you shampoo it every day. You don't want split ends if you can help it... even if you are a guy with longer hair. Make sure you change ALL clothings items every day. Your skin cells shed and get on your clothes. Bacteria can build up and bacteria is the thing that causes sickness and discomfort. The discomfort could be an upset stomach or rashes or infections. Even though your mom has probably told you a thousand times to wash your hands... believe me she isn't saying it just because she is a mom. She is correct. Washing your hands before meals if the perfect way to stay healthy. Your mouth is the entry way to your body. Washing your hands minimizes the bacteria that gets into your body. Also clip your fingernails and toenails. Dirt and bacteria can start to grow under them if they become too long. Apply deoderant every day and make sure you wash it off in the shower so it doesnt just keep building up.... but.... the main thing is.... EAT RIGHT!!!! I can't express how important this is. If you establish healthy eating habits as a young kids then they will continue into your older age (Im guessing cause I ain't old yet). Eat enough fiber so your body can be cleaned out and so it doesnt hold onto the bad bacteria. To much fiber can be unpleasent due to to many trips to the restroom. Also sleeping is a healty habit. Don't deprive yourself of sleep in your teen years... also don't get to much sleep. 8 to 9 hours should be good enough for a teen. When you get older 6 to 7 should be sufficient, but most older people take naps and feel great and 7 hours of sleep. I am not there just yet. 8 to 9 is good for me and I don't feel sleepy during the day.
Now, if you are a female I can't really inform you of all the female health tips. Cause im a dude and most 19 year old dudes just don't know that stuff yet if you understand where I am getting at.

Yes, a mindful eating diet is very healthy for a teen. This will help them to develop healthy eating habits now, which could also reduce risks of them having future health problems such as diabetes.

Since this teen is young they can lose weight easily by getting lots of exercise and having a healthy lifestyle. I suggest eat healthy foods, and going on a diet. Don't force yourself to lose weight (puke) because that is the unhealthy way! Keep in mind that when your young and not healthy you will suffer in the future!
Teens need to get plenty of sleep so they can concentrate in school because as a teen is the most important time of your life to stay healthy. If it is the night before a test then an average teen should get 9-10 hours of sleep
