Greenhouse gases are released in the atmosphere by the emission of factories, vehicles and industries. Therefore, one important step would be to capture these gases before emitting in the open air, like the polluted water is treated before throwing out in the oceans or seas.
Another step would be to plant more and more trees so that they use the excessive carbon dioxide and in return provide us with fresh oxygen. Moreover we need to control the excessive and unplanned systems of industries. There are many other schemes like the Kyoto protocol that check the emission of these greenhouse gases by each country so we should support them and it should be a collective effort.
Greenhouse effect is due to greenhouse gases. We have to stop their emission.

Global warming is happening everywhere, so to stop it in the rainforest you have to stop it where it is being caused, in the big polluting countries of China and the USA. You stop it by moving to renewable energy, so we can stop burning coal and oil to generate electricity. That is the only way.
Methane, which comes from the stomachs of cattle and sheep, from thawing tundra, from food rotting in landfill and from drilling for oil and mining, is a greenhouse gas that is much more dangerous than carbon dioxide.A:The most prevalent and common greenhouse gas is water vapor, which accounts for up to 75% of all greenhouse warming. Methane accounts for well under 1% of the overall effect.
Greenhouse gases stop heat from escaping the atmosphere. This natural greenhouse effect has kept our planet warm for millions of years. The earth's carbon and water cycles move carbon dioxide and water vapor in and out of the atmosphere constantly.Greenhouse gases (any gas with 3 or more atoms) will trap the sun's infrared radiation (heat) being radiated by the Earth's surface, and prevent it from escaping back into space. This heat from the warmed up gases is also re-radiated in all directions, including back down to the earth's surface, which warms some more.At present man-made greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane, are causing an accelerated greenhouse effect. The natural carbon cycle is unable to cope with the extra CO2 which remains in the atmosphere gathering heat, and causing global warming.A:The more greenhouse gases there are, the worse the heating gets.
stop cuting down trees stop useing alot of electrisatey

They do. Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere retain heat rising from the surface of the earth and stop it escaping into space. This keeps the earth comfortably warm and has done for thousands of years.
The rain-forests are important to the environment because they filter gases, such as carbon and methane, common greenhouse gases, in the atmosphere. Without them, there is nothing to stop the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These gases then trap more heat, adding to global warming. THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT!
Greenhouse gases stop the transmission of infrared rays. These are the rays which carry heat away from the earth, and therefore an increase in greenhouse gases results in global warming.
Yes you are all of the human kind is. When they drive cars and stuff like that.So you should walk even if it's cold.To stop greenhouse gases.

Yes we can. If we reduce the greenhouse gases.
Stop adding carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. To do this we have to move entirely to renewable energy and stop burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas). Actually that might not even be enough. It might be necessary to reduce the levels of greenhouse gases from their current levels.A:There are steps that we could take to mitigate the warming. We could slow the addition of CO2, sulfur oxides, methane, and some other greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. This would be expensive but could lower current levels. Also, we have to remember that Earth has cycled in and out of ice ages many times before human activity became a factor. So, there are some natural phenomena affecting global temperatures, that we have no control over. To name a few: Earth's asymmetric orbit, varying levels of solar energy, and volcanic activity. There are others.
