There are a few different ways. Your service provider may offer an app for music purchase and download, such as "Rhapsody" with MetroPCS. You may also use your USB cable to import music files directly from a computer on to the phone to play through your choice music app. You can use the "Pandora" music app to stream and listen to music on your phone. I'm a Spotify free user and I have an iPhone XS. Here is my way to download music onto my phone. Run TunePat Spotify Converter from my computer (Spotify Free does not allow the offline listening feature), enter the web player and log in with my Spotify account. Find out the songs I wish to download and choose to download them in MP3 format, also you can choose other output formats as you like. After conversion, navigate to the folder where my converted songs are saved. Connect my iPhone with the computer via USB cable, drag the folder from a computer onto my phone. Usually, to make the data transfer easier, I use Syncios Manager for help.

However, you can always use a USB cable to connect the Samsung Admire to a computer and turn on it's USB connectivity function to import music onto the phone from the computer. I have my Admire with MetroPCS $50 unlimited plan. MetroPCS has an app/service available through which to listen and purchase music to download directly to your phone. Though, I prefer to use the Pandora music app when I just need background music (which does not download music, but streams it) and the 4shared filing sharing app if I want to search for and download specific songs onto my phone to play through my PowerAmp Music app that I got from the Android Market Place.
