This depends on the make, model and year. It could be a sensor in the cooling system, it could be a vapor lock issue in the fuel system, it could be a valve in the emissions system. There are a few other issues too.
No it can not. If the belt is missing that could cause it to run hot.
If stuck open the car will run cold. If stuck closed the car will run hot.
no a bad fuel pump will not make your run hot it will cause it not run like it should and eventually stop running at all
yes this will cause engine to run hot
yes but i would start with the thermstat that will cause the car to ouer heat also Yes.
yes it will make bring unmetered oxygen in and the o2 sensors will pick it up and it will run lean (lean=hot) (rich=cool)
A car running hot after it has been started could be blown head gaskets. The thermostat may also need to be replaced.
yes, if the Cadillac converter is not working properly it can cause you to loose power and may in the future cause you to loose your engine.
Need to know what to hot is. A typical cooling system will run at 200 degrees F (+ or - 5 degrees). This is normal.
Low anti-freeze makes a car run hot going 70 mph.
The engine cooling fans are not functioning, low on coolant, bad thermostat,
