If you are driving down the road and the tachometer RPMs are intermittently bouncing, then more than likely your transmission is slipping or having shift errors. Of course, this is if you have your foot steady on the gas pedal. If you are having transmission problems, your O/D light (if equipped) on your shift column may be flashing. I had this happen on my 1999 navigator and it ended up needing the transmission rebuilt. It was rebuilt in September 2009 and cost around $1900... I got a good deal. Most transmission shops charge $2500 around here in Tennessee... If you do need your transmission rebuilt and you decide to do it, make sure you find someone trustworthy.

What causes sudden voltage drop in houses incase of ac?

Often, this is due to a sudden increase in the load current due, for example, to the the starting current of a motor which has been switched on -this causes a temporary increase in the voltage drop along the line, which is often noticed when the lights in a property temporarily dim. Other causes could be due to external sources, such as a neighbour operating welding equipment.

Why are the underlying and immediate causes of death both important when preparing an autopsy report?

I'm not a coroner but here is my answer: Underlying causes of death can predispose a person to die from immediate causes of death. That means underlying causes aka "chronic conditions" (they were there for a long time) can increase the likelihood of someone dying from an immediate cause. Example: a man who is 200 lbs overweight, has a stressful job, eats crap all the time and smokes three packs of cigarettes per day gets in a wicked argument with his wife and drops dead. The immediate cause turned out to be acute stress but that's not the whole story. The complete picture includes underlying causes i.e. obesity, smoking, stress (and everything that comes along with these: atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease); it is all this that really set the guy up to drop dead from an argument.
