Old hard lip lseals can cause it. It probably needs an overhaul. when you warm it up apply the parking brake and put it in neutral i was told by certified tranny expert dodges wont build up much pressure in park but will in neutral after fluid has all drained back after sitting overnight it works on my 96 Dodge ram anyways
