Causes of over heating: insufficient coolant; antifreeze/water mixture not correct; thermostat stuck in closed position; faulty water pump; clogged/dirty radiator; leaks in the system.
Follow the lower radiator hose from the radatoro to the engine. The lower hose is attached to the thermostat at the engine. Are you haveing problems with the engine warming up but the heat not blowing as hot as it should? Consider the heater core.
To fix the heat in the 2000 Sable, check the coolant level first. Make sure that the engine is not heating, if it is then the thermostat or water pump could be bad. These are the most common causes of heat being out.
Heat shield on your exhaust system?
Friction causes heat. Heat is a source of energy.
Could be low on coolant or a sticky thermostat.
1998 Nissan Pathfinder the speedometer and heat gauge quit workin?
I also own a 2000 Nissan Xterra; and I've come accross the same problem......I solved this problem by removing the heat shield from the engine header. It was becoming rusty and loose. Hope this helps.
The type of heat that causes a burn is gas!
Low Coolant. Poor coolant circulation. Intake gasket. Head gasket.
Friction causes heat. Fraction causes heat only with people who are not comfortable with maths.
Heat which causes a change in temperature of substance is called specific heat.
the water pump has failed-replace the water pump and you will have your heat back, the finns are prone to rusting offanother possibility is that the switch that opens heater core to let in heat is broken. also check antifreeze level. if it is too low u will not get heat.
