I have a 92 Dodge Dakota 318 and just yesterday, it was slightly chilly out and my throttle stuck open and sent me hurtling down the road, just the opposite of your problem. It could be your throttle or it may be that your fuel injectors are dirty. First check out your EGR valve because if that's sticking that can do it, i had the same problem except is woulnd't shift from second to third. So the EGR valve is your best bet. If you have a computer for your car or know someone who does check it out.
Absolutely not.
If its an Automatic, yes its possible.Otherwise if it's a Manual, then no.
Wont shift while engine is on? Is it an automatic or a manual? if you put more information I can put a more reasonable answer.
Yes, well I can do it on my car
FAT refers to Floor Automatic Transmission while AT means Automatic transmission in case where shift lever is installed at the steering column
I have a 2002, KIA Spectra and while driving it doesn't want to shift gears. It is an automatic. a million things could cause this but the easyest to check is if there is to much or too little fluid in the trans mission it will not wanna shift the nest step id take is to take is to a tranny shop but dont go to aamco or at lest not the one on 600s 300w in salt lake city the kept my car for months x months
A car with an automatic transmission shifts itself from 1st to 2nd to 3rd when you accelerate. You don't need to shift it...that's why they call it automatic.
most common is wheel bearings
fuel pump and or filter/ catalitic converter
Hai, In A.T. We havn't necessary to shiftthe gears. According to the Load it will automatically Select the Torque.
The 2002-2004 as well as 2005-2006 Acura rsx base models come in 5spd manual, or automatic. while the Type S models only come in 6spd manual
You take a turn with a manual car the same as you do with an automatic car. You will need to shift down to second gear and keep your foot on the clutch while turning.
