If it's noise coming from your fan belt, than try this cause BELIEVE me it works!! Doesn't matter if you are a woman either.. cause I am...:-} Turn your car off - make sure it's cooled down Get a standard bar of washing soap (eg. Dove, Irish Spring... doesn't matter) Locate the fan belt Firmly rub soap along the under-side of the fan belt...just a little on one area will do since it will spread when turned on Try driving your car now... did it work? You may have to get the belt checked, but this will take the squeal away for a bit anyway, and it won't hurt the car! If it worked, gimme a trust point! Thanks
Driving at 50mph or above what causes a loud knocking clicking sound during acceleration?
The cause of the squealing sound is because you are turning the steering wheel completely to the right or left
the spare tyre.
If your car makes a squealing sound when you are turning it is because your brakes have worn out. When the brakes wear down below a certain point, a wire pops loose. That makes a squeaking sound.
Sounds like your belt may be worn out.
you need to replace your belts. Take it to AutoZone to have them look at it
A hog sometimes makes a snorting sound, and sometimes makes a squealing sound.
The squealing sound you hear when your car brakes are wearing out is referred to as a "squealer." This indicator is a strip of metal that when the brake pad wears down makes contact with the rotor making a metal on metal noise.
Some manufactures use a wear indicator that causes a squealing sound when the pads need to be replaced.
