It is the alternator....
The loud whining sound could be wheel bearings going out. However, it is also possible that the speedometer bearings or cable are defective.
A bad pinion bearing in the differential is to blame
that use to happen in my ford explorer and it was the transmission try to make sure you keep eye on fluids good luck
If a car has a loud humming noise when accelerating, it could be that the air filter is missing. The air filter housing might also be loose. A loud humming noise can also be a signal that there is something wrong with the alternator belt or the fan belt.
It is more than likely a bad wheel bearing they go out a lot in these cars
when you try to start it then it's the starter.
Most likely the noise is made by the power supply or a failing hard drive.
Bad wheel bearing.
My fuel pump is very loud. I'm told it is aftermarket but it is fine.
If the sound is a loud growling , whining, noise you're probably low on power steering fluid. Now the cause of the fluids loss is WHERE ?
Check the fluid level in the trans, the whining is probably the input shaft gear mangling itself.
The fuel in the cylinders exploding
