A leaking spark plug wire can cause a backfire out of the intake, but the most common cause is a burned intake valve. A burnt intake valve will allow leakage during the compression stroke back through the intake causing a popping backfire out of the intake manifold.
The intake manifold in a motor is like the lungs of your car. Air is taken in through the intake manifold and then is evenly distributed to the cylinders to mix with gas.
It is located below the intake manifold. It is located below the intake manifold.
on top of the motor
under the intake manifold under the intake manifold
The intake manifold attaches to the heads of the engine and send an air and fuel mixture to the combustion chamber through the intake valves. The intake manifold is usually situated on the top of the motor.
It is located underneath your intake manifold (so if you look at it from the front it will be behind the back of the motor underneath the fuel intake manifold)
Intake Manifold 140557055 is for a 283 SB Chevy.
Passanger side of intake on side of intake
The starter is located under the intake manifold, and you will have to remove the intake manifold to get to it. Do not forget to buy a intake gasket before you take it off, because they always fall apart when you take the intake manifold off.
for the 2.3L 4 cyl. motor, it sits on top of the plastic intake manifold which faces the radiator.
uh there's a manifold on the front of the motor that's your turbo manifold and the turbo's connected to that it's the easiest part to spot other than the motor and intake your intake goes into it
On the left-lower part of the intake manifold (if facing the motor.) The hose runs underneath the manifold.
