The most common problem that most technicians have faced may invovle the EGR boost sensor. I also have a Mazda 626 v6 with the same code. Spent 90.00 having a diagnosis done on the car at the dealership. The technician stated the the boost sensor was not giving the right voltage and therefore his assumed that was the problem. Replaced the boost sensor with another from the dealer (314.00) and later the same day the engine light was back on witht the same exact code. Try returning the part, but the dealership would not accept returns on electrical parts, but they were willing to do another free diagnosis on my car, no thanks.
