it may be a leak in your air intake hose making the intake whistle when the gas is mashed.that is the hose leading from your air filter into your intake. The problem here could also be that your windshield is not completely sealed to the body. There is some kind of black goo (sold in a long strip) sold at most auto parts places that you can pinch off and thumb in where the whistles are coming from.
Brake booster problem?
Your engine probably has a vacuum leak
loose rear caliper or drum brakes, could be loose hardware or on disc brakes, possible warped rotor
yes it might if u press hard enough if they do go out u will no
sounds like the air cleaner cover popped off and its suckin air when giving it gas, or you could have a vacumm line off
A crackling noise when you turn your head or press on the back of the neck - like rice krispies - is called Crepitus.
It's one of your vacuum hoses. It's a very common thing to replace
It could be caused by a leaking or disconnected vacuum hose. additional info: assuming this whistling noise is coming from the engine and not from the wind whistling through some bodywork I'd recommend you open the hood with the engine running in the driveway and run the engine up and down (with the linkage by the throttle body on top of the engine or by having someone in the car press on the accellerator) and listen for that noise. I believe that a vacuum leak that you could hear in the cab would be serious enough to drastically affect the operation of the engine and you would notice surging, hesitation, dying, poor fuel economy etc. This further diagnosis may point you in the correct direction to get this resolved.
There might be something wrong with the brake pads. It is a good idea to get these checked out right away.
Go over the dealership estimate to get a place to start looking for the noise. The noise could be a bad front axle, brakes, wheel bearing, motor mounts, the list goes on.
Wheel shaking under braking can be caused by a warped rotor. A grinding noise when you turn can be a bad wheel bearing or worn brake pads. Either way you need to have your brakes and wheel bearings inspected immediately. This can be very dangerous. Any decent mechanic can find the problem and repair it.
press the brakes and then press the start/stop button
