Any kind of restrictive device, such as a filter, added to your water supply will reduce pressure and supply a fraction.

Your filter may be clogged with sediment from the supply water and should be flushed according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Most water systems should have a cartridge filter before the water treatment system to stop the sediment from entering the treatment filter. The replacement cartridge can then be changed as needed depending on the sediment in the water.

The water supply lines should not be smaller than 3/4 inch pipe. This permits more volume of water even with a lower pressure.

If you are on a well you can boost up the on and off pressure in the air tank by adjusting the pressure switch connected to the well pump. The air pressure in the tank must also be adjusted to 2 pounds less pressure of the new setting at the low end.

Instructions for this can be found on the internet.

Why would the pressure on a pool filter get lower?

Cleaning the filter will lower the back presure. or else a hole in a cartridge filter will also do it.

What makes Oil pressure drops when ac goes on?

the ac slows the engine, the lower idle causes the lower oil pressure

What causes the breeze to start?

Uneven heating in the atmosphere causes pressure differences and when air is in high pressure, it moves toward an area of lower pressure, and that is how wind starts.

What is the normal gauge pressure for a 16' x 30' ingroung pool?

It could be as low as 8, or 10, 12, the pressure could even be lower depending on your filter size, the lower the pressure the cleaner your filter media is the higher the pressure say 17, then you need to back wash or change the media, if you are not using sand.

How does altitude effect boiling points?

The higher the pressure, the higher the boiling point. Boiling occurs when the atmospheric pressure equals the vapor pressure. So, at higher altitudes where the atmospheric pressure is lower, the vapor pressure is also lower which in turn creates a lower boiling point which causes foods to have to cook longer.

How is the pressure affected by the collision of gas particles?

The more the collisons the higher the pressure, the lesser amount of collisons the lower the pressure.

What causes flight?

An airplane or bird wing has a curved upper part and a straight lower part. The lower part, when moving against air, causes more pressure down than the upper part, which causes flight.

Why does the pressure on your sand filter go up when on filter and volume gets lower and when on recirculate pressure goes down and volume goes up?

Because When the filter is on the water is being pushed through the sand, this brings about a buildup of water pressure in front of the filter and a reduction of water able to get through to the returns. If the filter gets dirty the pressure gets even higher. When the system is set on recirculate the water bypasses the filter so there is no pressure in front of it and as a result of this it is able to move through the system more easily.

The reduced vapor pressure at high altitudes causes a liquid to boil at a?

The higher the vapor pressure of a liquid at a given temperature, the lower the normal boiling point (i.e., the boiling point at atmospheric pressure) of the liquid.

What causes the lower mantle to remain solid despite high temperatures?

How do therapy animals lower blood pressure?

If the blood pressure is elevated by psychological stress, the theraputic interaction with an animal can reduce the blood pressure by reducing the stress that causes it to be elevated.

How dos wind start?

Wind happens when there is a change in pressure in the atmosphere which causes air to rush to the lower pressure area, thus causing wind.
