Check the gear on the cam shaft, you can see it through the hole that the distributor mounts in.
no. spline count is different
on imput shaft in tran.
front drive shaft, how do you get the yoke out of the transfore case to replace the ceal?
I own one. it is chain primary with a drive shaft to the rear tire. My bike was restored from the frame up so i am positive this is correct for 1988-1994
It does not have a drive shaft as such. It has a transaxle which which converts the power of the engine to the wheels. The transaxle also serves as the transmission.
No , rear wheel drive or 4x4 capable
I'm not a mechanic / technician but the transmission for a 4x4 has a different tailpiece on it so the transfer case can be bolted to it
Driving with a cracked or broken drive shaft is never a good idea. The shaking will eventually damage other components and when the drive shaft finally completely breaks down you will be left stranded wherever you are at.
support rear of engine. remove drive shaft. remove transmission. remove cluth. remove fly wheel. reinstall is exact opposite of removal
Filler neck to the gas tank
that depends on the model of it and if its x-cab or not
If the automatic 4x4 works but the front hubs do not engage in a 1994 Ranger, there is no 4 wheel drive. The transaxle for the 4 wheel drive has to be repaired.
