probably the most common cause of tennis elbow is vibration from the racket. the vibration travels from the racket to your hand, to your wrist, and then to your elbow. if you want to know how you can prevent this, or help it, you can put a vibration dampener in the strings. that will help a lot.
YES. It's one of the most common injuries, but nowadays the wrist is the most common injury. I don't think there's a name like tennis wrist yet, though.

That's your elbow .... the inner (flex side) is also called the cubital space. (Thus a cubit [see the bible] is the distance from the inside of your elbow to the tip of your middle finger.)
a cubit is a unit of mesurment from the length of the tip of the middle finger to the elbow.

There is no specific medical condition known as "pterygium elbow." Pterygium is a growth of tissue on the eye, not the elbow. It is best to consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment of any elbow issues.
Yes
Generally a numb pinky, and one that may or may not include part of your ring finger and part of your palm beneath those fingers, can be traced o a pinched nerve in your elbow. When this nerve is irritated or compressed it causes your pinky and some of your ring finger to go numb, especially when your elbow is bent for a little while. Numbness of the other fingers and/or hand can be traced to a different nerve, or perhaps carpal tunnel, but generally when it mostly is just your little finger involved it is a particular nerve pinched at your elbow If this is the case, try to refrain from keep your elbows bent while sleeping, driving, talking on phone.... It should help relieve some of it . Hope this helps!
Sounds like a serious problem. You should have that checked out by a doctor or a chiropractor. ************************************************************* This is a fairly common condition called ulnar neuritis or draftsman's elbow...usually caused by leaning forearm on edge of desk, table etc..for long periods of time. It can also be caused from repetitive elbow use and or arthritic build up at the joint where the ulnar nerve passes through. The person usually has numbness down his elbow (same area if you ever have hit your funny bone) and in his ring and or little finger that may be relieved by repositioning.
