Worn wheel bearings. First sounds like a whine, then increases to a hum, then a growl. If the bearings are not changed, it will affect/damage the axle, which costs more to repair/replace than the bearing. Some axle replacements also requires alignments following.
Depends on the kind of grinding. The brakes may have been messed with, so you'll getting a constant grinding noise. If the noise is audible when you first turn the vehicle on and it not in motion, then you have other problems. If you only hear it while the vehicle is in motion, then you should take it back to the shop where you got your tires replaced.
Brakes
I'd try changing tires, worked for me.
Does it pull to the side? It may be your tires. Bad tires. Flat spot on the front tires. Try to rotate your tires. And see what happeneds.
Why? To even out tire wear. The front tires will wear much quicker than the rears on a FWD vehicle. The front tires are pulling the vehicle and are also steering the vehicle. This causes friction which causes wear. You rotate by simply putting the rear tires on the front and the front tires on the rear every 10,000 miles. Click the link and go to Tire Rotation.
Balance your tires!
BRAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
It could be brakes, bearings or something else altogether.
Bad shocks, worn front end parts.
Usually a suspension or front end proble causes uneven wear on the tires and you get noise from them, similar to running on snow tires
Front grinding is when you and your partner's sexual organs are grinding together. It is more risky than back to front grinding because in front grinding the male's genitals tend to go inside the female's vagina. It is basically having real sex with clothes on.
If the front tires on a Mitsubish Pajero have worn on the outer wall, it can be caused by wheel alignment issues. As wheel alignment shifts, it can cause feathering of the tires.
