It could be a problem very early in development (during pregnancy). About 1/3 of all males with Klinefelter syndrome have other chromosome changes involving an extra X chromosome.

This syndrome isn't considered an inherited condition.
Klinefelter's syndrome is not hereditary. And males who have this disease are infertiled. It means that they can't produce offspring because they can make few sperms.
