Low tire pressure....Dirty air filter....Dirty fuel filter....Wrong Fuel type.....In need of a Tuneup......And the Number one thing is Agressive driving habbits
If a car has a low MPG that means that it does not use as much petrol (miles per gallon). this helps the environment more than cars with a high MPG because the process of finding them can release harmful gasses from the mining equipment. And when it is in you car, the engine's process of combustion also releases gasses such as carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, which contribute to global warming.
Depends on driving habits. as low as 6 mpg, up to 15 mpgDepends on driving habits. as low as 6 mpg, up to 15 mpg
It's a vehicle that's fuel-inefficient. Fuel inefficiency shows up as low mileage per gallon. An example of a low mpg range is 9 mi/14.4 km - 30.5 km. Low mpg vehicles include full-size vans, old cars, pickups, and SUVs.
Cars such as the Nissan Leaf and the Ford Focus can both get between 80 and 100 MPG in ideal conditions. The car you want may depend on the size and compact nature, though, so gas mileage could be as low as 35 MPG for a hybrid.
Hitting parked cars?
for safety yes; as for being "green", not so much. Very low mpg and what not... spend your money on something that will last longer and that you'll get more use out of!
the highest MPG for a Chevy is 34.1 it is very low but it can still go very fast for a old car.....
It is highs 37 and low 28hope it helped:)
Buying used automobiles depends on many factors. As long as the car is priced decently, is in great condition, has a low mpg, and has no issues, used cars are a good choice to buy.
No one really worried about MPG back then, but I figure it was in the single digits to low teens as a v-8
The biggest killers of mpg's in ANY vehicle are aggressive driving and excess weight. So relax and maybe vaccuum out the few pounds of sun flower seeds! Oh wait, that's just my truck...Other than that, maintain proper tire pressure, maybe upgrade your air filter and exhaust system for a good boost in mpg and horsepower!
28-32 mpg depending on how heavy footed you are... (low 20's if you're wearing concrete boots!)
