Time to replace seals, this usually causes misfire.
Worn down piston rings will allow the oil to seep up into top chamber where the spark plugs are. Otherwise, you just have too much oil in your crankcase.
If the engine is twincam, probaply head cover gasket is broken. Then oil from the head reach one or more spark plugs and when the engine is hot this oil causes smoke. You can find out if so, when remove the spark plugs one or more of them will have oil on the trade.
You might have to much oil in the engine. Check oil. Clean spark plugs. (remove and use sand paper to clean)

look on the very top of the motor and you will see a long rail them are the spark injectors for your spark plugs. pull them injectors out and you will see your spark plugs.
HTE SPARK PLUGS ARE IN THE TOP OF THE ENGINE JUST IN THE MIDDLE
Do you have a wire that goes to the top of the engine then yes you have a spark plug
the spark plugs are located on top of the valve covers. when you open the hood you should see your spark plug wires (black) connecting to them, on top of the engine.
Simple. There is a circular gasket for each spark plug between located between the valve cover and the engine. If they are not properly sealed, the oil from the top of engine will leak out of the valve cover and pool into the spark plug sockets. You must remove the oil BEFORE you remove the spark plugs. Anyway, the fix is purchase and install a new valve cover gasket and spark plug gaskets and use a gasket sealant.
You can find the spark plugs for your 2002 Nissan Pathfinder on each side of the engine. The spark plugs will be near the top of the engine. A six-cylinder engine will have three spark plugs on each side.
