The oil gets thinner. It is normal for the oil pressure to drop after the engine has reached full operating temperature. If you have from 30-40 psi pressure when the engine is hot then that is normal.

Why will a container of gas explode if it is heated?

heat causes pressure, pressure causes friction, friction causes spark, spark causes KABOOM! all in a split second

How does air being heated affect the air pressure?

When air is heated the particles become excited and move and bounce off of surfaces causes pressure on it's container.

What causes atmospheric air to be rapidly heated?

In the atmosphere, warm surfaces can heat the air above them. High pressure in the atmosphere is what causes the air to rapidly heat.

Why do tin cans get crushed if cooled after heated and closing is mouth?

Assuming the can can be sealed. When the can is heated the air inside it expands. If the can is then sealed and allowed to cool the air inside contracts which causes the pressure inside to drop. Because the outside air pressure is now greater it crushes the can.

What happens to the pressure of gas when it is heated and why?

The molecules of a gas move faster when heated so the pressure increases.

When air is heated air pressure decreases because the molecules?

when air is heated ,air pressure decreases because the molecules are

What causes water to rise out of the ground in Hot Springs in geysers?

Pressure. Heating things expands them so when the water underground is heated is expands and pushes to the surface

Causes atmospheric air to be rapidly heated?

There are a few causes that lead to atmospheric air to be rapidly heated. Having a fire burning will lead to rapidly heated atmospheric air.

Why do and breezes occur?

Convection currents cause the air to rise when heated. This causes the air pressure to become lower on the surface, which then pulls in air from nearby regions, which is felt as wind.

Do large bodies of water affect the weather?

weather is affected by the large land masses when they get heated up during the summer and so there is low pressure; and in winter they generate high pressure.

What happens to the pressure of gas when it is heated at a constant heat?

The pressure is higher.
