Overfishing occurs all around the Earth but mainly around countries that love eating fish such as Japan. Fish near extinction are mainly cod, blue fin tuna, yellow fin tuna, and so many others.

Overfishing disrupts the natural balance ecosystems attain over thousands of years of evolution. Humanity may lose more than just single species to overfishing, which can threaten entire ecosystems and allow much smaller organisms to flourish--like bacteria.

overfishing happens because people tend to overeat the amount of fish than they really should. This is why it needs to be limited. Fishermen catch more than enough.
