Battery cable is most likely loose, check both cables for tightness. The more I think about it may be a loose ground wire not the ones to the battery. Check where your ground wire comes off the battery and connects to the vehicle. The only other thing I can figure may be a wire from the alternator going to the battery - some cars you can remove the wires from the battery and the car stays running - (once it is started) but it still need a goods connection between the rest of the components. I guess I would look at the entire sequence starting components - from the fuse -> ignition -> celenoid -> starter -> battery -> alternator and the ground. The reason I am saiying that is because you said it only happens when you hit a bump. That to me would indicate something is loose intermitantly. I could be a switch or a relay maybe, but I would check all these first.
