I know from experiece on my 1998 grand am gt.i I never change the spark plug wires or the spark plugs cause I bought it with high miles,i was told by my mechanic the reason all three coil packs fried because all the fibers that run through your plug wires completely and totally burnt out which caused a domino effect.its important to change plug wires every forty thousand or even thirty.
