If your talking about a 2 stroke motorcycle. i have the same problem, but you can prevent it from fouling by constantly rev the engine, riding motorcycles take tons of practice, i have a 125 yz when i first got it i fouled 3 spark plugs in 1 month. another thing you can do is change the oil, i run 1;44 and for 250 yz, my bro runs 1;50. Remember it takes practice also. i still don't have it down, i fouled one just a week ago. It happens when basically over use, not revving enough, oil is to rich.
they could be bad spark plugs as in not a very good brand. or maybe you didn't put the wires back on the right spark plug.
Over-choking or dirty/badly gapped/old spark plugs.
look on the very top of the motor and you will see a long rail them are the spark injectors for your spark plugs. pull them injectors out and you will see your spark plugs.
The spark plugs along with the plug wires are hidden very well... The spark plugs are located under the log plastic strip on top of the valve cover.
A person can replace the rear spark plugs very easily. Disconnect the battery, remove the cables/boots and the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, reconnect the cables and boots, and reconnect the battery.
the plugs on the back are very difficult. How is this done.
Very carefully
That would be very rare.
from dropping them, ceranic is very brittle
The spark plugs on the 2nd bank are behind the engine under the crow bar. They can only be felt with hands follow the spark plug wires. Change the spark plugs are very easy but needs the proper spark plug socket and the wrench extension.
to change the spark plugs there are 5 steps to this: step 1: remove spark plug wires. step 2: find the right size spark plug socket and rachet. step 3: losen spark plugs until they come out. step 4: install new spark plugs into cylinder, but make sure not to cross thread them it is very easy. step 5: replace spark plug wires on to new spark plugs. and youre done
Spark plugsfor a 98' explorer, if you remove the wheels there is a panel that can be removed behind the rotors that gives you acces to all of the spark plugs. i was changing the brake pads on my 98' explorer and it needed spark plugs to, and i saw this panel, removes it curiously and whala, there were all of the spark plugs! Carefulbe very careful with this one, apparently these have a ton of troubles with the spark plugs BLOWING from the heads.. apparently the Alum. head where the spark plug screws into only has 3 threads for the plug to seat in, which is not sufficient for holding these plugs in very well..The reason I am bringing this up is if you try to replace these plugs yourself and if you OVER TIGHTEN the plugs, you can strip the threads very easily. The end result of strippen the threads on the heads is a very expensive head replacement @ $3KAlso, I looked on my '98 expedition and I don't know how it is possible to reach some of these spark plugs. (the spark plugs are located above the valve covers and UNDER a "COP", which instead of a typical spark plug wire you will have a Coil with a couple of wires coming from it.)Better YetTry this sitehttp://www.mattstruck.com/sparkplugs/sparkplugs.HTML
