check the fuses in your stereo. i went to hook up a new radio and forgot to disconnect the battery and blew the fuse in the radio itself. That caused the radio to not work and the windows. hope this helps....good luck.

Check a fuse called "courtesy" or "Interior" or something like that. It depends on the auto manufacturer.
First: make sure that the switch on the light(s) is set to the correct position. There are 3 positions on this switch; #1-completely off all the time; position #2-completely on all the time; and, position #3-operates when the door opens and closes. Second: If you have power mirrors; check and see that they operate. The same fuse that controls the interior lights also controls the mirrors. Lastly: on the fuse board located underneath the the left side of the dash; check fuse #35 (7.5 amp).
