I have had many problems with the lights on these cars and it is generally the light switch itself. But by installing a new light switch in the dash does not mean it won't happen again. It was a poor design by Ford. The switch can heat up and burn the wires attatcheed to it, Check the plug on the switch to make sure it is not burned
