Either a burned out lamp or a bad flasher relay.
If the lamps all work (turn on the lights and walk around the truck) then the next thing to do is locate the flasher, which is a small can-shaped device about two inches long and one inch in diameter, usually located under the dash. (You may have to cut a wire tie if it's bundled tightly in a wiring harness. It should be easy to locate because it's the only relay you'll find there.
(Some vehicles have their fuses located under a panel in the glove compartment, and the flasher may be in there too. I'm guessing that on a "Chebby" P/U it's under the dash)
The flasher relay may be made of aluminum or plastic (black or green) and the three prong plug pulls off (or you may have to pry it off with a screwdriver tip) and the replacement relay can be easily installed after a quick trip to a nearby auto supply outlet. Replacements are not expensive, probably costing less than five dollars.
Make sure you get the plug on tight and tuck it up so it's not hanging down where people can hit it with their feet. If you have a tie-wrap or electrical tape you may want to use it to secure the new flasher under the dash.
If neither signal light works, the flasher may very likely be the problem. The hazard lights and the signal lights work off different flashers.
Turn signal indicators are lights. The flash to tell you, or indicate, that a turn signal is on, and which way the lights are flashing.
A mis-wiring or short circuit somewhere between the controls, fusebox and lights.
How do I replace turn signal on a 1992 Chevrolet caprice classic I want to learn how to do it myself
Check for; a shorted or bad bulb bad ground in socket
Replace the turn signal flasher relay.
I would replace the turn signal switch.
Bad ground.
Check the fuses
You may have a bulb that that brunt a element which than crossed the other element cause all lights to come on a one time. I have seen this before. If this does not light all bulbs when the brakes are applied, then I would be looking in the front lights, if it does I would look in the back lights.
No. there is no relay for the turn signals.
Short to power in the brake light circuit. Most likely, the fault is in the switch itself.
