I can't answer your question because I have the same question you do, and I can't find an answer on the internet anywhere for it. My dog was about 2 months old when this also happened to him. (I got him from someone I found through the newspaper when he was 6 weeks old) The worm that came out of his mouth when he threw it up was at least 5 inches long-maybe longer, because the bottom of him was "coiled up" when my dog was done getting sick at the time. The worm was ALIVE and MOVING. It coiled on the bottom and its head was standing up and it seemed to me looking or at least rotating its head around. My dog had thrown up on a bean bag chair at the time and I freaked out so much when I saw the big worm (in comparison at the time to my shitz a poo's tiny body) that once I got a little bit out of shock I grabbed the bean bag chair and ran to the bath room and flushed the live GIANT worm down the toilet. I was so freaked out and couldn't stop crying. To this day I don't know what that worm was or what the cause of it was. My dog is now 5 years old.....and I am still worried sometimes to this day about that incident because I don't know what it was or what caused it. I know it had to be from the person I bought my dog from, but my dog is my life and my best friend and I still worry that something could be wrong somewhere that I don't know about. If you ever did find out what it was in your case I would greatly appreciate if you could e mail me or message me and let me know. staa10000@Yahoo.com
my name is Stacey and my best friends name is Tubby. Thanks.
If the worms are on the feces and they look like rice it is tapeworms, this can be taken care of easily take stool sample to vet, the RX is inexpensive.
Probably, they are feminine forms of Toxocara canis.
because its really sick, has worms, and needs to see a vet fast!
take it to the vet there maybe some future problems.
tapeworms. they are often a result of dogs eating fleas.
If your dog is vomiting up worms, it means they have worms and need to be taken to the vet immediately.
Dude, your dog has worms, what else?
He has tape worms. Send him to the vet.
they could be round worms....your puppy would need to be dewormed
Most of the time, unless your dog has eaten a long white string, anything that comes out of the stool that looks like that is worms. They are long and flat and look like strings, but they are a parasite. It can become potentially dangerous to the animal, and I would suggest a trip to the vet. However, if that is not an option, dewormers are sold in Wal-mart and pet stores. You just follow the directions and mix it with their food. Good luck.
tapeworm. you should know that plus that is the only thin and white worms
There are different species of parasitic worms humans can contract. In general, the passed worm is long and very thin. Depending on the species, the worms can be any shade of brown or yellow, but are often clear or white.
Ung tae niya may white.
If you have given at least one dose of the dewomer and there was an abundant amount of worms, then u will see them in the stool afterwards (most likely dead). Keep in mind it usually takes multiple dewormings to completely kill all the worms. Ask your vet to do a fecal test afterwards to make sure they are gone! Keeping your pet on flea preventitves can help prevent tapeworm, and keeping them on heartworm preventitives to help with roundworm and whipworm ..and it will save you money in the long run as deworming can add up!.. Dont let your animals lick/eat other animals stool, and regularily pick up their droppings in the yard. Always was your hands after handiling their stools as some parasites and worms can be given to humans!
Thread worms are small thin white thread like worms beetween 2 and 13 mm long. They infect human GUTS.
Messed up! That what that is, Jack!
What worms look like in human stool depends on the type of worm. A tape worm is flat and looks like rice, a hookworm in long and light colored, a meat worm is red and long.
Vinegar will kill heart worms in some breeds of dogs. It also depends on how bad and how long your dog has had the worms that determines if vinegar will work or not.
you catch them quick because if they are outside to long they could get tape worms they are white worms that eat your cats digestive system i didnt mean to be rude.
There are three major types of worms: roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms. In addition, there are less common internal parasites including whipworms and flukes. Incidentally, there are no pin worms that infest dogs.
