All automotive air conditioner compressors work by going on and off. That is how they control the temperature. If they are mostly off, they make it warmer. If they are mostly on, they make it colder. The fact that it is on an Impala has nothing to do with it. The fact that it is an automobile air conditioner compressor has everything to do with it. Something would be wrong if it was not going on and off.
You may need to check your brakes or the rollers on your brakes
See a specialist. System needs to be purged, leak checked & Recharged.....
The 2005 Chevrolet Impala air conditioning evaporator drain is located on the bottom of the air conditioner compressor. The evaporator drain should have a tube attached to it.
The 2004 Chevrolet Impala air conditioning pressure switch can be found on the end of the air conditioner compressor. The pressure switch should be labeled as such.
The 2001 Chevrolet Impala low side service port can be found on the top of the air conditioner compressor. The port will be labeled as the low pressure port.
Balance your tires!
check the ground wire connection to make sure its clean and in good contact. Cut and replace it also may have been pinched and cuts off during driving
Try looking @ all harnesses to see if they've melted. Check multi-function switch, BCM ..... all after the obvious bulbs and fuses.
If the interior lights stay on while driving on a 2002 Impala, there could be a problem with the headlight switch. Check the relay center for the headlights that is just behind the headlight switch.
