Check the Power Steering fluid to see if it needs to be filled. If not, then you may need a new power steering pump.

Well if you don't care about messing up the passanger side key thing just but a flat head screw driver in the key hole smack it really hard and then turn hard to lock it and when it turns to lock then turn it to unlock just like you do when you use the key. it won't break it all the way it just will be weird when you try to use your key. i know this cause my brother locked my key's in the trunk and i have a97 Nissan altima.
