Hitler basically threw out the treaty and did what he and the Germans wanted.
Hiteler defies the treaty of Versailles by building up his army, taking back the Rhineland and lots of other things.

It made Hitler think that the other European powers would not go to war with him no matter what he did and allowed him to make a mockery of the Versailles Peace Treaty
Hitler's nationalistic feelings towards Germany caused him to be angry with the results of the Treaty. In the Treaty of Versailles, Germany was blamed for World War I, forced to pay war debts, forced to demilitarize, and much of their original territory was distributed to the Allied Powers. Hitlers purpose was to make Germany great again, and he could only do so by violating the Treaty.

The treaty did not make them inependent
The treaty of versailles was intended to make Germany pay for the vast damage they had caused in the first world war
Basically, German troops set foot in that region and started remilitarizing the Rhineland military, which violated the terms of the Treaty of Versailles. Of course, no countries took action since they thought that was the end of any German hostility. Hitler, of course, was at no state to make war with France yet.
Hitler hated the Treaty of Versailles because he was a nationalist. He had a lot of pride in Germany. The treaty of Versailles had very harsh conditions like limited military, having to pay back all the money in damage from WW1 to the victors and taking full blame for WW1. Hitler found that unfair so he took the power of his convincing speeches and convinced everyone else in Germany that it wasn't fair so he went into power of the government and broke the treaty. yo mamma
well, Germany started building weapons and stuff so that they could take back the land wich had been taken away from them as part of the treaty. then it all went to hitlers head and he thought he was invincible, so he started killing all the Jews and basically made another war.
The Treaty of Versailles imposed a lot of sanctions on Germany, the most important being that they had to accept full responsibility for the war and sign the War Guilt Clause 231. Due to this, they had to pay massive reparations of £6,600 million as compensation for all of the damage caused by the war. The Germans despised this and tried to pay as little as possible. This was one of significant issues which led to the rise of Hitler. This is because, after the Wall Street Crash, and the great depression, countries were in great need of money, and Hitler offered a solution to the Germans. The Treaty of Versailles also took land from Germany, gave the Saar to France for 15 years and demilitarized the Rhineland for 15 years. Hitler promised to make Germany great again and this meant he would reclaim land lost and make Germany powerful. So the 'sanctions' imposed on Germany by the Treaty of Versailles played a big part in Hitler's rise in a way, because it meant that Germany were in desperate need of someone to save them, and make Germany a great and powerful country once again.
