There is not a colour code system as such on Peugeot's Near to the end of the wire is a number this is the code.

google tailor wiring connections, then all you need to do is identify the wires that do the lights,left signal, right signal, brake, lights and reverse. then the last wire is ground

The reverse light sensor is located at the side of the gearbox and has two wires running to it. To test run a wire across the two and if it lights up that is your problem.
You got new lights for a peugeot 206 the left side are working well but right side dont work very well when you touch the metal part of the light on the body work it works well is it the earth wire?
Had the same problem with 306 rear lights. Spliced a new piece of earth wire into the existing wire and to a good earth point, thios solved the problem.
I have a 2001 peugeot 106 and the radio has gone off but it still lights up when lights are on but when you press power nothing happens what is the problem?
You probably have blown the fuse on the rear of the radio. There is a wire connected to your headlights that brings on the background lights inside the radio screen and another wire that has main power in plus another one for ignition on. One of the latter two will have a fuse inline and it should be blown. May be on the wire or built in to the back of the stereo. Have fun.
