What is another name for a pressure plate assembly?

Clutch cover

Please direct me to the cover to change the pressure plate.?

I assume you mean the clutch pressure plate. If that is what you mean there may not be a cover. On older cars and trucks there is a flywheel cover on the bottom of the bell housing. At any rate to replace the clutch pressure plate you will have to remove the transmission. Then the bell housing to gain access to the clutch plate mounting bolts.

A Clutch consists of 4 major components they are 1)FLYWHEEL: Though not a composite part of the clutch FLYWHEEL is what the clutch derives power from and delivers it to the gear box. 2)CLUTCH DISC: A clutch disc consists of springs between the hub and the disc to absorb the shock when the clutch is engaged. 3)PRESSURE PLATE: As the name defines a pressure plate is present to reduce pressure when the power transfer occurs it consists of COIL SPRINGS, ANTI-RATTLE CLIP, RELEASE FINGER, STRUT, EYE BOLT & a FULCRUM PIN. 4)CLUTCH COVER: The clutch cover is used to cover the entire clutch assembly. 5)HUB & RELEASE FORK: The hub is where the power from the fly wheel is transferred to the gear box and the release fork releases the clutch from engaged position once the transmission is complete.

To replace the clutch plates, drain the oil, and the right side engine cover has to come off. Then, remove the clutch bolts in a criss-cross pattern, slowly releasing the pressure on the clutch plates. Usually just the fibre plates are replaced, the metal ones may be ok. Buy a clutch rebuild kit with new springs, plates, and cover gasket.
