have someone pump clutch pedal 3 times and hold to floor,go to slave cylinder, its bolted on side of transmission, coming thru a rubber cover, open bleeder valve, use aclear hose and connect to end of bleeder screw and other end into glass container.open bleeder screw and as fluid comes out ,watch to see if air is coming out, when all air is gone ,go to your clutch damper, its bolted on left side firewall,do the same and bleed it too.dont let fluid get low while bleeding.
I have a 1990 Nissan Pickup 4 cyl. manual transmission. The Flasher is under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. It is near the top of the clutch petal. Turn the key on and start the signal. You should hear where it is at. Put your hand on it and you will feel the vibration and the sound will change. I still have not figured out how to get it off.

A 1990 Nissan pickup truck has power steering. If the truck is displaying symptoms of not having power steering check the fluid levels and pump itself.
It'll fit, but it probably won't work very well, as a 1996 transmission would be wholly electronic, and the 1990 transmission would not.
The Nissan 4x4 pickup 2.3 was produced from the years 1990 to present in the United States. The spark plug gap on a 1986 Nissan 4x4 pickup 2.3 is .044.

if its hydraulic there could be air in your line. bleed your clutch and refill.
In the ac box
there are two places to blead your clutch and its a two person job the first thing you do is fill the clutch master cly. theres a bleeder screw on it then refill the cly. and bleed it at the slave cly. this is all done the same way you bleed your brake system
your head gasket is probaly blown.

I would suspect that the clutch slave cylinder is bad. Follow the line down from where you added fluid to find the slave cylinder. After replacing the slave unit you will need to bleed the system then it will work fine again. Mark
