Well, Hispanic people for one are defined by the native toungue of Spanish. Since Hispanics, are one of those language-strict ethnicities. Although Hispanic is more of a race rather than an ethnicity. Kind of like how Taiwanese and Indonesians are Austronesians. Hispanic people are those either descended from, or from the ancient country of Hispania, now today modern day Spain. This itself had been a territory of the Roman Empire. Those with Spanish as their native toungues are also Hispanics. People from Spain, don't really like the usage of the term "Hispanic". People from Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico are all Hispanics too. It's a race, not really an ethnicity there are black Hispanics and white Hispanics. Hispanic people also follow the Roman Catholic religion, again Spain and Portugal were once part of the Roman Empire. Spanish speaking countries, if not most, all follow the Roman Catholic religion since it was brought over by Spain.

Hispanic people have connections to their heritage through shared cultural traditions, languages, food, music, and festivals that have been passed down through generations. They have a strong sense of identity and pride in their heritage, which often includes a mix of indigenous, European, African influences depending on their country of origin. Family plays a central role in preserving and passing on these traditions.
