There is no particular species called a Black Panther. The term may apply to melanistic (black) leopards from Africa or Asia or melanistic jaguars from Central or South America. Both are collectively called black panthers.

Africa, but since the 80s people had them as pets in England and when it became illegal they was set free, so they live in England, Africa, and some other countries.
