What could be the cause of the passenger side brake light not working bulb and fuse good no electrical work ever on car took small ding on fender well by backdoor?

In the back of the car, on the left (at least it is in my 2001 Focus) there are a couple wiring connector "blocks" behind the carpet panel, with all the wiring connections from the rear of the car. Start checking there. Possibly you knocked a wire loose by piling a lot of junk in the back (trunk) of the car. Let us know if you find the problem.
