Not familiar with that particular car but many have a driver lock feature so if you have kids they can't operate them. See if applies to yours or unknown button somewhere

If they both don't work, check the fuse. Under the dash on the drivers side. Could be a problem with the master control switch on the drivers door? I've had to replace the window regulators and both door switches, one at a time, never both at the same time.

It is likely the Wiper Control module mounted to the wiper motor. I had this problem on my CTS and since found out other CTSs have also had the problem.
I found a broken wire in the wire bundle that goes from the drivers door to the body of the car. Its covered by a rubber boot.
I had a similar problem in a Pontiac Sunfire. The guy at the dealership said it's a common problem with the switches they use for fan control in Chevy/Pontiac vehicles. It's about a $10 part.
