I have a '94 Cavalier, and what would happen, when i would go past 30 MPH, If i began to slow down.. the car would begin to bog out unless you hit the gas pretty hard, its like it would pop back into gear. to avoid it, i would shift the car into neutral. but as soon as i put it back into drive, it would shut off. the problem was that i needed repairs to my transmission, i would wait and try to get more answers. this may just be something similar.
Well I posted the question and did not explain! While the car is in park or neutral is accelerates well. When you put it in gear and hit the gas it stumbles or hesitates really bad. You can push the gas pedal all the way to the floor and the engine will continue to idle then it will pick up and run with some slight misses! Fuel problem????
Lifters dont really knock, they chatter. You may have a bigger problem.
You can ask her. If she hesitates or says no, then chances are she's not into you anymore.
Are you talking about when you are pumping the pedal really fast? If so, that is a fairly common problem. You might be able to solve the problem by turning up the idle on the carburetor.
Can you? - Well I suppose so. But you won't really get any nutritional value from it and there is some chance of a bone fragment gettign caught or doing some damage so I would not recommend it.
disconnet theft sistem on Chevy cavalier? Sorry....you really can't. You have to reset it.
Hey....i have a 95 Cavalier and i found this......it was perfect, and the pictures really helped.....hope this helps: http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic321030.htm
It could be the mass air flow sensor located on top of the breather tube by the air filter. One way to check if it makes a difference is to disconnect it. Drive it and see if it still hesitates. If it does that could be the problem, was on mine. It can mean alot of things really! Timings off, fuel pressure regulator is set too high, plug wires are frayed, O2 sensor could be wired wrong, or going bad. Check all of these!!
Ask him. Guys are really straightforward. If he hesitates, then he never really thought about it before. If he says yes right away, then yes.
Hi, I got the same problem with a 97 Saturn, I can get to it by removing the blower motor, there is just enough room to get my hand in there, it is really dirty, but I don't know how to clean it.
Check the thermostat and the serpentine belt.
I had this problem myself and ended up paying $800 bucks (and that was a deal) to fix my fuel system. Now I am really mad because I just found out that there was a recall on the 96 cavalier fuel system. http://www.motortrend.com/cars/1996/chevrolet/cavalier/recalls/index.html
