Past experience would suggest an alternator. This is symptomatic of a totally dead battery. Charge the battery first. Try to fire it up again and if it runs now put a voltmeter on the battery while it is running. If the voltage shows as 12v or LESS then it is NOT charging. A properly charging system will show at least 13 or more DC volts.
