What could be the cause of small white bumps under the surface on the back of your fingers?

I usually get these white bumps on my hand that holds a cigarette. right on the top of the finger. It seems to be an allergic reaction to nicotine, other various chemicals, or the heat from the cigarette itself. Mine goes away after I switch hands while smoking.

∙ 14y agoif bumps are full of clear liquid they are called blisters... they are tiny.. this is usually caused by dermatitis(sp)... this can be caused for a variety of reasons.. contact with a particular fabric, dish soap, detergent, cleaning fluid... or it could be hereditary - is there a history of excema in your family?
