If the motors are working, then there has to be a problem between the motors and the lights. If they are only "working" though if you bench test them, and they don't actually do anything when you turn on the lights, then there must be an electrical problem such as a break in a wire or a bad ground to the motors.
The headlight motors are going out. Each headlight has a motor. If you need to replace one, it's best, (and cheapest), to do both of them.
If just one headlight quit working it probably burned out. If both headlights quit working at the same time the fuse probably blew.
i was driving in the rain last night my headlights and wipers quit working and i stop the car for 15 minutes and they starting working again and they are still working what could have cause this my car is 2002 cavalier
The headlights in the Ford F150 may have stopped working due to a bad fuse or bulb. Check these and if it doesn't fix the problem visit a mechanic.
To find the cause of the low beams not working, start with the bulb to make sure both are ok. Check the dimmer switch, and the wiring from the switch to the headlights.
The stepper motors behind the gauges. Cheaper to get the motors on Ebay than a whole new cluster
probably the fuse is blown.
the motors are a well known weakness - failing at around 40k
It is possible that both of the fuses are bad for the low beam headlights and the cruise control. A loose ground wire could cause the fuses to blow.
Many possible causes... coolant level, thermostat, head gasket, water pump, fan not working
i know this will sound silly but first make sure the headlights themselves are not blown.you would be surprised how many Kia's come into my shop with headlights not working and all the headlights are blown. after that get a volt meter and disconnect the light and test to see if you have power , remember the dimmer switches are famous for cold solder joints and will also cause this problem.
Diagnose them, determine the cause of the problem, and fix it. Email me if you'd like (the address is in my profile page) and maybe I can help you figure this out.
