Fuel [Petrol] Gauges that Fail to WorkAlthough there could be one or more other causes for a fuel/Petrol gauge to fail to work, the answer is YES, a "blown" fuse could cause the gauge to not work.
have you checked your fuses?
cause when you shut off the van the power to the gauges is cut off completely, so the gauges will stay wherever they were at until the next time you start the vehicle.
why is my 98 ford expedition running on high temperature but themotor is not hot
Having a short in the turn signal wiring can cause gauges to fluctuate. If the battery gauge is fluctuating corrosion on the cables can be a possible cause.
Many deep fryers (such as the ones used for turkeys) have variable temperature gauges so that the temperature can be adjusted as needed. Most instructions call for the oil to reach a temperature of 350 degrees, as any higher will cause the oil to smoke.
As the temperature goes up the oil pressure goes down because the oil thins out. It is possible that the increasing temperature which causes the 'temp' light to come on can thin the oil enough to cause the 'oil' light to come on also.
There are several things that can cause your Ford Fiesta 1.4 liter engine to lose coolant. The most common cause is a defective water hose.
You need to find the cause of the short.
Petrol or gasoline in a diesel will cause internal engine damage. if petrol is used in diesel engine it may cause explosive sound with burning ....bcz high compression ratio ......
Replace {Thermostat}, It is in a closed posistion and is unable to open. Another cause as with the Futura (1.3 Fiesta year 2000) is a valve between the heater and engine, the Thermostat shows normal operating therefore replacement is not needed.
we should use petrol and diesel with care because it can cause fire and many can get injured.
