could be a vacuum line off
It could be that the connector wire broke in the rear. It happened to me.
A bad heater core / it needs to be replaced
It is important to have the defrosters working in a car for safety reasons. For the defrosters not to work, a fuse could be blown or the wiring could be burnt.
no only breaking a mirror is bad luck(7 years) you could cut your hand and get an infection as well. if you punched it with your fist or kicked the mirror with your foot.
If the defroster is blowing hot air and it is still leaving moisture on the inside of the windshield, the heater core may be leaking coolant causing that condition. If the defroster is blowing cold air it could be the cooling system is low on coolant, or the thermostat is stuck open or the heater core is plugged up or the temp blend door has a malfunction.
No, it means that you could burn out the wiring when the defroster fails or the wires short out. When the wiring burns out it could cause other parts of the vehicle to burn and your whole car could be nothing but an expensive piece of burned out rubble. Never replace fuses with an over-amperage fuse. Only use original sized fuses to prevent damaging the vehicle.
Hello, Jamison here, Sounds like the A/C compressor is SHOT.
Check your fuses.
If there is an oil leak inside the engine compartment of the vehicle. The defroster could have some of the smell go into the cabin of the car. The engine should be checked for any oil leaks.
The hazards of having a large mirror over a child include the risk of the mirror falling and causing injury, especially if it is not properly secured to the wall. Additionally, the child may accidentally break the mirror, resulting in sharp glass shards that can cause cuts. Lastly, a child may become fixated on their reflection, leading to self-esteem or body image issues.
I had this happen twice on my 2003 Olds Alero 2.2. The first time, the cause was a vacuum hose that came loose inside the dash. The second time was caused by a broken vent selector knob.
