Well if it holds water all the way, fish. If it holds water quarter to half full, then aquatic turtles/ newts/ salamanders/ toads/ frogs/ chameleons/ crabs and other terrarium inhabitants. If it holds no water, then snakes lizards, mice, rats, scorpions, tarantulas, hamsters, and other dry animals according to size of tank. For this latter group a screen top not a glass top would be better suited for air.
