What could have happened if Hitler was killed and world war 2 didnt happen?

Regardless of what would have happened in Europe, Japan's aggression would not have been affected. Having little of their own Natural Resources, their aggression was with the intent of acquiring territory that was rich in oil and other resources.
Then Britain would had still been the world power.
Those are likely scenarios, but here's my theory.
WWII would not have happened in Europe. The Nazi's would have still existed, but they would have been more of a political party rather than the brute force behind a dictator such as Hitler. Having not had an Adolf Hitler to stir up the hatred towards the Jewish population, there would not have been a Holocaust, and there would not have been a need for Jewish people (scientists) to escape from Europe.
Albert Einstein would not have moved to America, so there would not have been a Manhattan Project.
German physicists Otto Hahn and Fritz Strassman split the atom in 1938.
At a leisurely pace over the next ten to twenty years, Germany would have developed atomic power. Inevitably, that power would have been made into a weapon when the Nazi's became the ruling party in Germany.
Without firing a shot, Germany becomes the leading super power and rules the world.

If Hitler had not been killed, the series of events that led up to and were the holocaust would have never happened (unless someone else was similar minded to him....you never know). Then...I guess we would always wonder if there would be a second world war. Then people would feel that the result of WW1 was positive in a way, it was the the war to end all wars.

∙ 12y agoI believe there would be no World War 2, if there was no Hitler. But If there was a world war 2 without Hitler, and Germany had a better leader, that wasn't power crazy or Jew hating, Germany may have been better off, possibly. Maybe Germany would have even allied with the Allies.
