A broken power wire between the relay and the pump or a poor ground connection.
Swap the relay with a known good relay.
Do you have your terminology right....The injector relay would be the computer right??? The fuel pump relay could cause that problem!!!! good luck and let me know
If it is not running and the fuse an relay is good it needs replacing. Even if it is running it may no be pumping. A fuel pressure test will verify if it is good or bad.
Have you tried the relay or the fuel pump itself? Not sure where the relay is located
Yes. If the relay has aged the holding coil could become week or intermittent. However, it is more likely that you have a loose connection in the relay control circuit or the contacts on the relay are worn. Also check the wires going to the inertial fuel cutoff switch. This could also be a source of strange behavior. The fuel pump or it power circuit could also be the problem. Good luck!
injector is bad
The fuel pump will not come on. Of course this could be a blown fuse or the pump itself has failed. Check the fuse and if it is good then install a new relay to see if that solves the problem. If not the pump is bad.
You need to be sure you have a good clean ground. Check for the proper voltage from the relay.
van trouble please help mei have a 1996 Honda odyessy i cant get any power going to my fuel pump could it be my fuel relay switch if so can you please tell me where to find it on my van
If the pump is running the relay is good.
ITS LIKELY THE RELAY...OR A FUSE ON THE PANEL BY DRIVERS DOOR...BUDDY MACK
For a 1996 silverado, there is no fuse between the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump. There is 2 connectors, one just outside the tank and one inside the tank connecting to the fuel pump itself that could be your problem if the fuel pump is good.
